    I will there this saturday night then returning after hiking south from Pearisburg.....what bars are a must?

    Quincy's restaurant downtown is now a helluva lot more fun than it used to be (gee, does the return of beer and wine have anything to do with this?) but at the end of the day, the best bar in town is, and will most likely remain, Dot's Cafe. Don't miss it.

    Yes.... Dot's!!! Drop some money in the jukebox for me and enjoy some good drinkin' tunes.

    dots for beer, but damn the burgers at Quinceys are the best!!

    I like the chewy Damascus Bars. Chaco likes the Damascus Bars with nuts and mate.

    Yeah, when I saw the title of this thread I assumed it was some sort of new energy bar for hikers.

    The Whistlepig Bistro has seating on a deck over the creek. $1.50 PBRs and assorted other beers plus damn good food
