Looking For Victim From Trail Day's...

During Trail Day's this past May there was a hiker assaulted on the Creeper Trail bridge near the city park. The rumor is that he got off of the trail?

The Damascus Police are looking for this individual and need your help if you know them.

If you know this individual please get in touch with him and have him contact Chief Bill Nunley at 276-475-3341.

It is very important, a video was made of the assault taking place and the person that made that video is sitting in jail right now so help us by getting a hold of this person or let us know who he is.........

I know some of you have to know something or someone who knows the individual that took the beating. We are all one as hikers and we need to watch out for each other, so think, think, think. Especially if you were at Trail Day's and heard something......or seen something......

if i did know a person who was the victim of such a crime and they chose not to come forward i would respect their wishes. likewise if i was the victim and didnt want to say anything i'd hope mine were respected as well.

i remember this incident being discussed on here but can't find it. i remember the hiker that was assaulted got off the trail because of it
