WHEW!! I thought you were talking about my in-laws!

Snowed here in Tampa Sat night - quite a bit and large flakes as well. Lasted about 15 minutes, but didn't stick.

Of course, I was at the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert when the snow machines were set off!

We've got about 4" down in the valley this morning and are supposed to get 3 more. I haven't ventured down to the trail this morning but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a foot of snow above 3500'.

The temp is supposed to be 12* tonight with a windchill of -3* with more snow....

If my wife is in a good mood and I don't think she'll try to have me committed I might hike the 6 miles up to No Business Knob shelter this afternoon and spend the night...

This is a perfect time to try out some cold weather stuff close to home.

Suppose to be 33 degrees tonight in S Florida. Thats as low as I've ever seen it get down here.

Still snowing here. 5 - 6 inches already. Can't see Iron Mountain this morning.

On Sat, Roan had about 8 inches, wonder how much is up there now?

    See you on the trail,

13 this am with wind gusts to 30mph. I am going to try out the hammock tomorrow night. It is supposed to be about the same temp and I havent had it below 30 but was nice and comfy at that temp.
5 inches of snow on ground, 4-6 more today, 2-4 tonight, 1-2 tomorrow. I like it I love it I want some more of it.

Looked like a blizzard up at the parking area of tray mountain on Sunday. I got there early and an inch or so was already on the ground. The wind was whipping the snow all over. I loved it.

Woke up to 4" of snow and a low of 14 degrees here in Murphy, NC. Glad to be home, indoors by the woodstove! Dreaming of spring on the trail.

Dangit, I thought this thread was about Rosie O'Donnell.

At 4:30 PM, it's still 45*F in Gorham. The rain we got yesterday and today, washed away the snow. Bare ground.

It's too cloudy to see the Presies, but I'm guessing there is still snow above 4000'.

This thread is no where near what I thought it was about. I am very disappointed.

Just returned from Disney tonight for their Christmas program. Someone brought the cold weather to Florida. It is 9pm and 37 degrees.

Little snow flakes here - 8°F - some drifting. Snow stacks up nicely this morning.
