Default The one "Luxury" items you would bing

For those that have hiked or for those planning on. What would you consider the one "luxury" item that you either brought with you or would bring on the trail again.

I always have a book with me, no matter how heavy it is.

    BTW, where is Niceville, FL?

A book is definitely a necessity! If you count that as a comfort/luxury item, then that would be mine. Aside from my moleskin (if that counts, seeing as it weighs so little) I don't have much in way of luxury items. I have only been on a few hikes though.

I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

My one and only luxury item is dark nail polish, I hate seeing the dirt under my nails. Weird I know. Girls with long nails will understand this.

    Default luxury item

my luxury is a pair of houndstooth slippers (actually Sanuks).

at Philmont we asked the same question about the "one-pound luxury", and one of the guides carried his own personal padded toilet seat.

Usually my camera as I like to take videos and picture along my trip.

Usually I don't need a book I just either read the map/guide book or just lounge around in my hammock listening to the wilderness

#1) I-Pod Mini and Charger - if I keep it OFF except for at night, I can go about 8 days on a charge

#2) a 1/2 liter size steel (or nalgene bottle) of Myers Spiced Rum
one mouthful makes a 20 mile day sooo sweet
