Default NOC to Fontana Dam trail conditions

I am heading out next week to hike the NOC to Fontana Dam section. Does anyone know what the trail conditions for this section are?

Trail is in good shape. We are expecting rain twice this upcoming week. That could translate to ice or snow at the higher elevations, but shouldnt be anything to worry about.

Just section hiked Fontana to NOC this weekend. Trail was in good shape, even in the rain. Some slick spots and new blowdowns, but no big deal. I was surprised with the lack of blazes in some spots, particularly on Cheoah Bald.

All the more reason maps are a good idea. I remember the lack of blazes there SOBO also. One cannot rely on the white blaze.
