    Default This is Hard

Reading all the journals today, seeing all those that are beginning the Trip of a lifetime, and i still have 360 days to go...This is hard, real hard...My feet are moving as I am writing this, sayin, "lets go...Lets go"....

Looks like very nice weather at the start this year... Good luck everyone...have fun..

Aspiring through hikers should always remember the weather can and does change.

I think the word is spelled perspiring.
If you find yourself in a fair fight; your tactics suck.

Sure does..If you don't like the weather in western NC , just hang around a few minutes and it'll change

Or worse yet, the year before last. That is, if you're talking rain for SOBOs vs. snow for NOBOs

Actually, I changed what I wrote to what you suggested before returning to my original plan.

Aspiring as in one who aspires to be a through hiker, someone who one day in more ways than one will be through hiking.

Gray, cry me a river, build me a bridge, and get over it! hah, i'm only kidding. But you should feel fortunate. I have until 2015 to do the hike. Current job ends in 2014 but not until August.

Until then, it's all about being in the woods or in the sky. (student pilot)

But gray, you have less than one year, feel fortunate. And if I don't mention it before you go, enjoy your hike!

Feeling the same thing. Went today and hiked at Conner Preserve and that helped the frustration a bit.

I'm counting down the days with you! A year from now we'll be hiking already. The time just can't move fast enough.

I figure a year today I should be near Hot Springs. Crazy thought.

I'm not starting until mid-April 2012. I still have over one year to go! Haha!! It's all good. Can't stop time, and time rolls along! WooHoo!!
