Update: I started march 20th, hurt my knee at the end of the first week ... tested, healing and ready to do a flip flop now since i live in pa, june 3rd from delaware water gap to baxter, then maryland to springer ... i've done all of pa atleast twice so i'll prolly skip it to save some time ... we'll see.

I did a flip flop thru in 96 a thru hike GA-ME in 2006 and decided why not again this year i started 2-14- and it was cold, i just passed the PA state line yesterday i am averaging 25-30 miles a day and will summit in late june or early july HAPPY HIKING TO EVERY ONE.

Will be a SOBO hiker beginning first of August. Boy Scout camp added a week to the season so that put my start date off a week. Gonna start in Maine and walk home. Local trail gets me within 3 mile of my door. Looking forward to the challenge, meeting people, and seeing many interesting sights. Hope to earn a trail name as I go. Since I am starting at the north end I hope to meet many north bound hikers as they finish.
