I am hiking this thru for myself but also for my father who passed away on 1/12/12 from Multiple Myeloma. Dear Mountain Squid,
after putzing around long enough for the air flight fare to spiral upward fretting about small scissors etc. & the TSA i have moved my start from 3/15 to 3/1 to enjoy the hiking expo at Amicalola State Park and to increase the chances that the few pounds of fleece and wool get used instead of packed. If it rains and pours may as well be ready. Gotta get around to a WhiteBlaze donation for sure as this site has been sooo helpful.
