    Yes, I was thinking the same thing, you will need a permit to hike in the SMNP. Also, great planning on adjusting your trip to the conditions of the trail. Have fun!

    Default Change of plans one last time

    I had to change my plans since the places i wanted to stay were booked for the weekend I could go. Here is my finalized plan. I hope it will be fine.

    Looks good. You got a few climbs in there to give you the feel but lots of nice ridge walking too. Too bad you had to eliminate the Boulevard. There will be other days.
    Fear ridges that are depicted as flat lines on a profile map.
