    Default Good find at K-mart

Someone else had commented on using this product on cookware handles to prevent burns when removing pot after reaching boil. I picked some up yesterday and its a great product.....100% silicone...easily wrapped around handles and actually bonds to itself after a few hours. I used it on some headlamp rewiring that I was doing and I forsee using it for all kinds of projects in the future, including backpacking !!

If you go to K-mart looking for this product, ask someone where the AS SEEN ON TV section is...that's probably where you will find it.......

I have wondered if that product works as advertised. Sounds like it does.

    Looks like a multi-purpose item.

That's part of the fun of thru-hiking- burning your fingers on the cook pot every evening!

We used to have this stuff in the Air Force for sealing Pitot tubes on planes when there was a need to fix it quick.
