Default Is membership down? What happened?

I could not help but notice,,, over the weeknights when an average 900+ people would participate. The last three weeks, It must be my imagination, but what is the current average of folks weighing in? why are folks not participating???

    Thoughts?
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

because due to insane amounts of censorship, there is no longer any banter allowed or individuality of character admitted here. in short, wb is now incredibly boring.

I check in almost daily but rarely find anything to comment on that I haven't already given my 2 cents.
If I wanted to repeat myself, I guess I could find things to talk about.
The questions have all been asked (many times)
And yes, censorship takes a lot of the fun out of things.
Cyber hiking is just not what it used to be.
Of course, the answer to the problem (at least for me) is to do another thru and then I can talk about the people.
I doubt the trail has changed much though.

Will any of the posts to this thread be here tomorrow? Will my own post still be here?
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

Agree. I wrote a self-lauded post recently on stealth camping and it was long and involved and PERFECT and the thing got dumped like toxic waste and disappeared into cyber effluvia. So where is it now? No where. Will this thread even be here later tonight?

So I will take this a bit further, for those of us that contribute money to this site, why do we continue if we do not like the direction it has taken?

You have a good point... after many years although I continue to post - today I feel like I have little to offer - because I am bored and I am no longer in a learning mode from the website... I have made many alcohol stoves, (not as much as Tinney) and lightened my pack to twenty pounds. Now I just have to loose some weight. and get back out there.
