Default REI 20% Coupon available, what ya gonna get?

I have several good quality headlamps that include the Princeton Tec Fuel (43 Lumens) and the Princeton Tec Aurora (35 Lumens). I have seen the Aurora come in 15 and 35 Lumens. I came across the Fuel and the Aurora on some pretty good sales like $10 each, so I they were a nice addition to my camping gear.

But, I have always wanted a high power high quality headlamp. And with the new Black Diamond Storm being out and the 20% coupon with REI, well, mine should be here next week. I’ve actually had my eye on the Spot for quite awhile. The Storm is brighter (100 Lumens) and is waterproof (vs water resistant) up to about 3 feet. It has several modes and a dimmer function. Yeah, it’s a bit heavier, but the capabilities and features I think are worth it. The Storm also takes an extra battery, totaling the batteries to 4 AAA’s. I’ve done a couple of short night time walks in the woods this past week and this Storm will be nice to have compared to what I currently use.

Anyway, are you planning to get something from REI with their 20% coupon for members?
    It expires 10-16-2011.

I would recomend getting the double nest , it's only $10 more but gives you space to lay on your side or flat on an angle .

OK I have discovered that you can get the 20% off one item per order. So, I made three seperate orders and recieved the discount each time. Bought the Big Anges Copper Spur 1 and Foot print = $70.00 off (one order)and Vibram FiveFingers KomodoSport LS Multisport shoes = $22.01 off..... Muliple orders yield bigger savings!!

I ordered a pair of Sahara zip off leg pants in a short inseam. Being shipped to the store.

Mens pants in the store were only 32 inches or longer, all styles and makes of pants. I found that surprising.

I looked at those but then decided I would probably hardly ever use them.

Not sure what the winters are like in Georgia, but up here in Connecticut I use my Microspikes a lot. They're great for dealing with snow and moderate ice both on the trail and walking around the neighborhood during the winter.

Just make sure to take them off before going inside and walking on a hardwood floor.

I ordered a Snow Peak Titanium cookset. I like my jet boil, but it limits you to freezer bag cooking and I want to start cooking some meals on the trail.
