    Default Grease Pot FYI

I know these are popular among many, but sometimes difficult to find. I stumbled on it here at a reasonable price.

Recently purchased one at our Kmart. I think it was around $7.50 tax and all but certainly not over $8.00 if my memory serves.

I see 'em all the time on the bottom shelf at Wally World in the housewares dept. Looks like the exact same one.

Sorry, is this something you guys use for backpacking?

I'm not sure how this relates to General gear talk for backpacking. I just can't fathom bringing a pot of filtered bacon grease on backpacking trips...

Lightest and cheapest cook pot going.

But, as a side note, there's nothing inherently wrong with bacon grease either. Lots of good hiker calories and a must have for making Citadel spread.

I have one only use it when I hike with another person great pot takes heat well cause of wide bottom. They don't sell that version of grease pot in my area. The grease pot in the Wal-mart around here has a handle on it.
