    Default WTB:Optimus 99r

I"m looking to go retro on my next hike.
I'll be carrying my old Jansport D3 and I'm trying to find
    an Optimus 99R stove.
If someone has one with a layer of dust and would consider
    selling please let me know.
An Optimus 8r is close enough too
    THANKS!

Have you tried e-bay? They sometimes show up in the camping section, although many sellers want to try to sell them as "collectable".
(I can't sell you mine - I still use it...a REAL workhorse, and lightweight because of the aluminum body.)
    Good luck.

What other retro gear is in the plan? 60/40 parka? Sigg pots? Ensolite pad? Gerry tent? Count me as a supporter.

the 60/40 would be over the top since they are still available from sierra designs but $400.00

$400!!! And they need to be babied, based on the washing instructions. So sad.

I literally wore my 60/40 to shreds...my favorite feature was that back vertical pocket....
