Default New Items on GoLite Clearance!

A couple of their packs (the Jam, Peak, etc.) as there for $60-70, as well as Shangri-La flysheet.

Oops, forgot to post this -- I've just gave in and bought the Jam. Currently the only pack I have is a 6lb 85L REI pack that works great but is just too big and heavy. Very excited to get this at such a great price!

The Jam is just the pack upgrade I was looking for. Although as a medium torso, I had to settle for blue by the time I got there. Someone purchased the last green one

I saw the Shangri-La 1 and the related nest are amazingly on sale. Has anyone ever used the Shangri-La 1? I've been using the Kelty Teton 2 for a number of years now and it has been just fine, but it weighs 4 lbs 10 oz. I can get the Shangri-La 1 and nest for about the same price I paid for my Kelty, plus it would all weigh about half as much. I'm nervous about switching to a non-free standing tent and having to use my poles to pitch the tent.

Anyone use this fancy Shangri-La 1 before?

Shangri-la 1 looks like a knock off of a Black Diamond Beta. You could probably save even more weight by getting a nest for it from Bear Paw Wilderness Designs.

Anyone familiar with the McKenzie Reflexion® 4-Layer Hardshell Pant? I could use some good waterproof winter pants. I think they are a couple years old but I can't find much information on the web. Thanks!

My Jam just got delivered - schweet! BTW, they are still on sale and they now seem to have all sizes in all the colors now as well.

I saw that as well. Kinda sad that I pulled the trigger, thinking it was limited inventory, when I could have waited and gotten the pack in green. But really, the color doesn't matter to me.

I didn't even notice the down jacket. What size did you get, and what is your build? It looks like a great deal to me, and I was looking at picking up a down jacket for camp. I'm 6', but my torso itself is small. My armspan is ~6'3 though, so I'd need the arms to be long enough.

I didn't get a jacket - just a large size in green (for envy Jam pack. I also thought it was limited inventory, and more limited timewise especially, and I was up in the air anyway between the black or green, so I pulled the trigger too. Another boat from China must have pulled in . . .

Oh, derrrr, I don't know why I thought you said you got the down jacket. That was someone else. Afternoon slow-down of mental somethingsomething.

The blue bag just reminds me of grid paper for blueprints. Makes me think more of work than hiking, but then again, I'm not looking at it, so what do I care? I got a wicked light pack at a wicked light price. :
