I just wanted to pass along that I purchased and tried this product for my thru hike, not anticipating it to really work, but I'll be darned, it really WORKS! What an awesome product! No dribbles, mess, nuthin' ~ there are other similar products out there, too. Picked this one up at a local Cabela's for $7.99.

Sounds like extra baggage to me but then my wife does it standing up anyway, by the hot tub each morning if the need arises- waters the plants at the same time!

I bought mine from the Go Girl website. Bought a 3 pack and gave one to my daughter for her overseas trip. They come in a tube. I keep it in my fanny pack.

Be sure to practice with it in the shower before you use it on the trail. If you use it in the tent because it is too cold outside, be sure to make your dedicated water bottle with duct tape so there is never any confusion. It's a great mountaineering/rock-climbing/alpine tool.
It does come with a nice little tube.
It's very compact.
There are a few different versions on the market.

Whatever you do, don't get the pstyle. I haven't tried the GoGirl but I imagine the setup is better because with the pstyle, the pee goes right over the sides. Not a pleasant experience.
