This is a right-wing propaganda site filled with things by right-wing nut jobs - politicians and preachers - I did read it (laughingly) - all of it - even the so called credits. The purpose of this "bulletin" is to oppose gay marriage. I suppose you are against that too - sorry, it's happening because it is not FAIR in a free society for the partner of a same-sexed loved one not to have the same rights afforded to opposite sexed couples - like death wishes, inheritance, filing joint tax returns. It just offends your sense of what is right and you want to stop it.

The research is completely slanted - it's absurd - this is what you READ? This is like an oil company's statement of why oil spills aren't that bad for ocean life or like a paper company's assertion that cutting down trees for toilet paper somehow helps the environment - you can drag up anyone to say anything if you look in enough holes.

I can show you statistics that say that there are more african americans and hispanics in jails than white people which is true - you could infer that this is because these people are inherent criminals and write a "bulliten" about this rather than delve into the truth which is that they are more likely socio-economically less fortunate, cannot likely afford the same educational opportunities, are racially profiled by the system and cannot afford proper legal representation.

This is also off topic (both of us) - this is supposed to be about the BSA and the trail.

It's true, it also teaches you tolerance. Tolerance for dogs, rude hikers, others political views, hiking groups, snorers, bad weather, pain, etc.
I know that I've become far more tolerant of others since my thru, I even like and respect Papa D even though we don't see eye to eye on some things
