I encountered a spring in Harriman that dried up in the course of 1 week. I camped there the previous weekend and the stream was running cold and clear. This last weekend, it was gone. I camped with only enough water for oatmeal. I'm planning ahead better next time.

I don't know much about the water conditons where you are,but up this way in summer when it's a dry year,it gets really really bad,No water to be had and creek swimming is few and far between.But theres always a way,to smile at the day,and say "hey,it just might rain".
