looking for input on best maps to use for Scout trip?

What would the best maps to get for trip from Summit Cut, VA to Damascus, VA? I will be taking a group for Souts out in May. Any input would be a great help to us.

ATC, Appalachian Trail Conservancy, has the maps for this area. www.appalchiantrail.org

The ATC map for this area is excellent (it's been re-done fairly recently); you might also want to check out the National Geographic Map #786 (Title is Mount Rogers National Rec. Area) which covers the area North and East of Damascus.
