Thread: how far North

    Default how far North

I plan to hike a 100 mile AT section in SW Virginia near Blacksburg in early April. Will there be Thru-hikers that far North by then?

    Yes.................
I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

Thanks Karl - Care to elaborate? It's 650 miles North. Do quite a few people usually start in February? It's been a good Winter for it.

I was section hiking this weekend just south of Pearisburg Va and ran into a
thru-hiker. She said about 6 or so hikers were ahead of her. And I think she said
she started in early Jan but had taken a number of zero days.

I met half a dozen hikers that left Springer Jan 1st. Will any still be hiking by then? Maybe some.

I was in Damascus on April 12 with lots of company.
