I love it. You've brought just a little bit of sanity back into my emotionally chaotic head while I wait 11 more days to get out there! No I'm not crazy... just going crazy from the waiting.

Its fun, but a lot of work. More work than most people realize. Hopefully youve been working out to do it, if ya havent, start. Every little bit will help.

Yeah, I'm sorry to say I've been battling a minor knee injury since last summer. Saw a PT for it and he determined the muscle(s) above the knee weren't strong enough to keep the knee cap aligned properly. Been doing exercises specific to that muscle group and I've been hiking daily. I think the problem is solved. Although the local trails are not more than flat... mountains are a whole different beast.

Thanks for the advice and enjoy your hike!

Did you make it past Georgia this time?
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.

Spectacular! I can't wait to see that. I can show you the most beautiful sunsets across the sound, but I long to see a sunrise or a sunset through trees or over a mountain.
