    I almost did this a couple years ago after a really bad day, almost just tossed my stuff in the car and left that night. I can identify just wanting to disappear and use the hike as an escape... that's probably not a good way to start off tho, and probably asking to get off the Trail once you cool down and have some time to think.

    I meet him on the trail between Neels Gap and Unicorp Gap. I remimber him because I told him he looked like my Grandson. He seemed happy and was enjoying the hike.
