Was wondering what was up with that thing. Was Jackrabbit North or South? Ya go all the way back to Albany with your friends?

I got picked up by family on the 4th, they hiked katahdin with me. Jackrabbit was NOBO when i hiked with him in WV/MD area.

During my short hike in the snow at the Osborne Farm in TN I encountered Cody Bear. Wanting to avoid deeper snow, I ended up taking him to Kincora where the following hikers were already holed up:

Heavy Panter
The Flower
Broken Toe
Chucky the Fish
Another hiker whose name I didn't get

Hiked up to McAfee's Knob yesterday and while there SOBO's Doc Spice and Chaingang showed up. Nice guys.

I met Doc Spice 10 days ago in SNP near Thornton Gap. He had a blister issue but otherwise in great spirits.

I met Coyote today at the blue trail juction to NJ High Point on my second day out. He is doing yo-yo, and has already finished NOBO.

I bought Anchor and Shambo dinner and a few drinks at the Tavern in Hot Springs, NC the weekend before Sandy hit. I'm sure they have finished their SoBo thru hike by now. They were moving very fast.

"Hoosier" has left the trail because of the weather. His real name is Zach. He got holed up in Bastian Va for a week and then wound up coming home, will have to complete his SOBO charity trip later.

Was on the trail from Blacksburg down to Atkins over Thanksgiving and bumped into Dante, Reese, Dogger and Yes (long distance section, I think).
