If anyone is looking for someone to start with let me know! Also any tips about thru-hiking with a hammock would be great

I was only on the trail 1 day in 2011, up on Springer the day Jennifer Pharr Davis set the supported record. Only 3 days this year outside of Damascus, and with any luck I'll be on it for quite a while next year starting March 20th. All my other extended times on the trail were in the early 70's and 80's. Why do you ask?

    Back for a second try....

    Trail Name: Perigrino (formerly Six-Six)
    Direction: NOBO
Estimated Start: March 15 (weather dependent)
    Approach Trail: Yes, this time

A Perigrino is Spanish for a pilgrim on the Camino de Santiago (the Way of St James) in Spain - my hike for 2014.
    Everyone's first question:
"Wow - How tall are you?"
    Answer: "I'm 6'6""
    Ergo, my trail name: 'Six-Six'

That's crazy. I've been researching the Camino de Santiago for months now, even contemplated going this year. Well, almost neighbor, (Gboro here) good luck on the second try and hope to see you on the trail.
