Hi bstanga1, my daughter and I are also SOBO on July 1. PM me if you'd like to meet up or exchange info before then, or go on "training" trips. She's finishing college in Dec., so she's swamped right now and isn't on WB yet, but we'll be backpacking in western NC, upstate SC, and maybe north GA several times during the winter/early spring to sort out gear issues. Happy trails!

Fresh out of high school will be doing the trail with one of my good friends. Have sectioned hike a good bit of the AT, and feel more mentally prepared than anything.

Ok its official, got the ok from home to thru hike 13'. I was on trail in 08', and was prepared to hike in 11' but life intervened. Now its going to happen...
