Looking to approach Springer Mountain late February, early March depending on weather. Looking for a ride from the Atlanta Airport. I will help with gas if anyone has room for a passenger.

In my second week of training, so far so good. Have gotten up to 8 miles caring 35 pounds. The trails for training are fabulous in the Minneapolis, MN
area.

Other: I'm thrilled to be hiking the AT this year! I've hiked the PCT twice ('02 + '06) and have done a few other long trails (the Colorado Trail and more recently the Pennine Way in England, but I have yet to step foot atop the AT. 2013 is the year! I look forward to meeting some of the class of 2013 en route.
