:banana Standing Bear to Erwin TN

A friend and I are looking to start on the 11th of May and going from Standing Bear to Erwin, TN with a small resupply in Hot Springs. We will do mostly shelters but have a few tent nights. Plan on hitting Uncle Johnny's on the 20th. Not the most aggressive hike, but we are looking to enjoy the trail and not rush to any one place. Most days we will do about 10-12 milles and just enjoy. Any age or gender is welcome,we are both male, I am in my late 40s the other early 60s, and we are both married with older kids. PM me if you are intterested and I can send you more details.

That is a great section - I did it last year. Hope you have better weather than me though (rained every day). Max Patch was definitely the highlight.

Looking forward to a report. I'm hiking from Devil Fork Gap to SBF over Memorial Day week.
