    Default Camp 7 goose Down sleeping bag

    CAMP 7 Boulder COL. found two perfect black mummy down Sleeping Bag . I paid 5.$ each. Does anyone know anything about these? They seem real old and weight a 2.11 lb.. They seem real nice..

    They have to be around 30 year old. Was one of early manufacturer. If they have been stored right they should be ok. You got a heck of a deal!

    In another thread, someone recommended assuming the shell weighs one pound. If that bag used goose down equivalent to the best that's used in modern bags, then it could be rated for 20°F.

    Great find! I have a Camp 7 down vest and a synthetic bag from the mid-70s. Still look and work as new. Enojoy your find! There should be a tag on the outside foot end that lists the down contents.

    Thanks for trip down memory lane. I remember walking down a street in Boulder in 1967 and seeing one gear shop after another.
