    Default Art Loeb question

For those that have hiked it in its entity, or, at least from Davidson River a few miles, does the AL cross Cat Gap Loop trail? On the NG map it appears that they come very close to each other, but, no definitive junction.

Hoping to to a overnight starting at DR and then hitting the cat gap loop camping on it in the cool area with the tall Firs, then hit back track john Rock and then back the trail head at DR.

I guess I can just walk to AL and see for myself since it is just down the road...

It all comes together near the shelter. No problems. Several unmarked trails around there too that the hoods in the woods outfitters use.

I thought so. Looking at the hikenc.com maps side my side for the Cat GAp Loop Trail and the AL, the catgap loop kind of juts in just a bit, appearing to cross the AL.

Very cool. Will make for a cool over-nighter or 2-nighter maybe...

A good overnighter is hike to the Butter Gap shelter area and then hike out the next day on the Butter Gap trail
