There's a group from Sevierville starting on Friday. There all twentysomethings, so if you take like two zeroes, they may catch up to you. They're doing a documentary on the AT, and they're sponsored by Old Smoky Mountain Moonshine, which means they helped to enhance my Trail Days Experience this year.

Just came back from doing the southern half of the 100 MW. Trail was really dried out and not muddy like it usually is. The Maine mud normally slows you down a lot so that's one less thing to worry about and I had no encounters with black flies but the mosquitos were horrible.
Pain is a by-product of a good time.
