Are you guys doing a sobo or nobo hike?

I have no idea... I'm still in AT mode since I'm doing that thing again this year. Jeramiah invited me and I was like "heck yeah!" so now I really need to save my money

I'm considering the PCT, maybe the NWP saving the CDT for 2013. But crap, all the bull**** you seem to have to go through for the AT not sure I want to any more. Kinda just wanted to load my gear and take my dog for a long walk but ain't that simple. Are there more rules for the PCT than the AT?

I may hike the PCT again in 2012. It depends on my Man. He said he might take a LOA or even quit his job to hike the PCT and wants me to come with. If when he returns he can't get a job, he'll just retire.
Some knew me as Piper, others as just Diane.
I hiked the PCT: Mexico to Mt. Shasta, 2008. Santa Barbara to Canada, 2009.

What kind of rules? Most folks don't take a dog on the PCT. I wish I could, but I've decided against it.

I'm trying to finagle 2012, but I doubt it'll happen. Still, you never know.
    Don't take anything I say seriously... I certainly don't.

Can't thru hike yet but if I get the AT completed this year I would love to do a 10 - 14 day stretch in the spring and in the fall (after Labor Day). Any suggestions?
Pain is a by-product of a good time.

PCT 2012 is a longshot... just a dream... but if you don't have dreams... they can't come true...The only way I can stop thinking about my AT thru is to work towards a PCT hike (so far it's not working)... oh well...Dune 2010 NOBO

It's beginning to look like I'll be in for at least four months. I don't think I'll make the whole thing in that time, but I should be able to hike a good portion of it. I need to research now.
