    Default GSMNP shelter questions

For my section hike next week, I have reservations at Mt. Collins, Icewater Springs, Pecks Corner, Tri Corner Knob, and Cosby. Taking our sweet time this year . Which of these have privies? Also, any water issues? Any other info on these shelters(or the trail thru here) that I might want or need to know?

All have a privy. Water should not be a problem. Dress warm and watch out for the wild tree squeeks

Logistics, man. Got 5 trail days, 2 travel days. I didn't want to do 15 mile days to get to Hot Springs, which would be the next logical ending point. There's 3 of us, two 40 y/o guys and one 71 y/o guy. Dont want to kill the old man(hope he reads this

Most of the shelters in the Smokies have great access to water (some have sources in camp right next to the shelter). I have hiked almost the whole park so let me know if you have other questions. Btw I'm 24 and taking the same amount of time to do that section by myself to stay in the woods as long as possible so don't feel bad haha
