Off on another 100-150 section from Carvers Gap into Damascus for Trail Days and then to VA 603- Fox Creek:
1. What's the travel time estimate.. I'm 70 now, fit but not 27.
2. What's the closest airport to Carvers, Tri-City? ... advice?
3. Where can I get off if I need to yellow-trial it into Damascus?

Carvers gap to Damascus is about 88 miles, with 12 mile days it will take a week. I'm 62 and did it in 5.
Bristol/Johnson City airport.
Plenty if good places to yellow blaze it to Damascus, Kincora Hostel would be good also Watuga lake.
