    Default camping Birch run shelter PA / Big Flat firetower

    Looking at a fall hike and was interested in any info on camping in this area. Sites near shelter? Water in October? Can you camp near the fire tower? Is Big Flat firetower on the AT? Any other useful info? Thanks.
    There are so many miles and so many mountains between here and there that it is hardly worth thinking about
