Pretty cool. Looks like the phone pouch velcros to the pack strap? How difficult is it to get out if you need to?
I used my phone as the camera so I couldn't take a picture of the phone in the pouch. Yes, it's attached to the pack strap with velcro. It's easier to get out than put it back in, but you could answer a call in time. I only put the top flap over the phone if there would be rain. I leave it off if I wanted you use head phones or have quick access to the camera. I made it today so it still needs field testing.
Those look great. I've been thinking about making a few tyvek items myselft and I'm wondering did you sew the tyvek together or glue the seams? I've heard people argue for both methods
I only used stitching.
very nice !!
I used Tyvek to make a tent pole sack for my BA Copper Spur UL2...works great and saved a few grams. I used seamgrip and then after that dried, I followed up with the Tyvek tape available at Lowe's.
