I don't know what animal I would be, but I've always aspired to be as good as my dog thinks I am.

A Thru-hiking Dog,then I could lay around on the Shag bed,snif some butt,Lick some faces,get somthin to eat,piss on the packs of people I don't like,and hike 25 miles more than I want to.

If I can't be a human (we are animals after all) it'd have to be some sort of raptor, or a cetacean. I'd rather fly, or have access to open seas.

Have a pride of females to yourself... Who go out and find food for you.
Spend about 20 hours a day "resting".
Get up to eat, mate, and claim your territory.
Just doesn't get much better than that...
Except for maybe vultures. They can actually lock their wings and sleep flying!
