Default Monument Mountain Motel, Great Barrington MA - Mailing a package to them

Just got off the phone with monument mountain motel regarding mailing a package to them if I stay there. The lady was very hard to understand and offered little input as to what I should write on my package for them to hold it.

Any experience with mailing packages to them from those who have?

    Kind regards,

    Raul

Usually it's sufficient to address as:

    (Your Name)
    Care of: Monument Mountain Motel
    (Street Address)
    (City, State, Z
    IP)

    Please hold for AT Hiker
    Expected arrival: Date

May wish to Place the "Please Hold for Hiker" on all sides, so that it can be seen when shoved on a shelf or under a desk.

They are ok with the mail drop but she wasn't very helpful on what to put on the package. It's even listed in AWOL's book as a possible mail drop.

Just some info, MM Motel is about 3.5-4 miles north of the center of Gt. Barrington, on a somewhat desolate stretch of Rt 7. By that I mean it is about 2 miles north of the Brewery and I would NOT want to try walking or hitching in that area. Rt. 7 is 3 lanes in that area, two going up and one going down with no shoulder in the downhill lane. If you can stay at the Holiday Inn Express or Comfort Inn are much more central. On the plus side a quick hike up Monument Mt (Squaw Mt.) is worth the effort. Here is a link to lodging in the area. http://southernberkshirechamber.com/...re-lodging.php

I would include conveying that you will be a guest of the hotel... Most could care less if you're hiking and not put two & two together

    Please hold for:
