    Default Sierra Designs Dri Down?

Anyone had any expirience with the Sierra Designs Dri Down? I haven't seen many reiviews on the bag, but to be able to thru hike with a down bag and not worry about moisture sure would be nice.

been on a down bag for 20 years, and love it.

I do not have one and I don't see a particular need for anyone that knows how to take care of a down bag in the field.

Having said that I am thinking it my be a good choice for my 13 yo Son to lighten up his pack. I am beginning to think kids are hard wired to get their sleeping bags wet just because they can My Montbell has a pretty good DWR and I would have to work pretty hard to get the down wet even if I wanted to, but my Son could get his sleeping bag soaked in a desert during a drought.

Other than kids I would guess if you tarp or cowboy a lot, it may offer a little more security.
