I met NN during my (and his, for that matter) '98 AT thru. Great guy, one hell of a hiker.
    Don't take anything I say seriously... I certainly don't.

Thought you might like an update: NN finished his hike of the Ice Age Trail in August. He soon began, and now has completed the New England Trail. That's all of them... the Nimblewill Nomad has hiked all 11 of the National Scenic Trails.

That's awesome! Good for him. I'm impressed.

When I met him on the trail in 1998, he was a monster of a hiker. Easily could outhike me, even though I was in my early 20's, and he, well... wasn't. I'm not at all surprised he was able to complete all the trails.

    Super nice guy, too.

His book "Ten Million Steps" is a really good read. Every page has a poem from him or a qoute.

Is NN the only one to hike all 11 NST? If not-- anyone have any info on the other hikers who have done
all 11 NST's? Haven't heard/read anything about this. Don't know if it is a few or a lot. It is a magnificient
    achievment. Congrats to NN!

According to his website, he's the second. Bart Smith did it first.
