Default Drought conditions increase in PA

I dont know about the water condition north of PA, but water is drying up and harder to find a good spring.

Can you report on any specific sections or shelters in PA that are not flowing? I was thinking about a short section around Duncannon in a few weeks. Thanks!

Dry in NY too. All streams I crossed last week were dry. Some trail magic at roads and hiker friendly businesses. Natural sources outside of lakes were very scarce. Makes for a fun game. Managed a liter at Pioneer out of a puddle left from the stream there. 3 hours later it was mostly dry, next morning completely dry as a bone. Thank God for trail angels. Makes for a challenging hike if you drink a lot of water like I do during a section hike.
