Default Trail to Northern End of PCT

I am planning to pick up my husband and his friends at the end of their NOBO PCT thru-hike. I was hoping to hike in to where the PCT crosses the Canadian border. I have had trouble finding information about the trail I would need to take to get to the northern end of the PCT. I would appreciate it if you could provide a link to the information (where to park, the name of the trail to take, etc.)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Page 9 on this link has a map of Manning-->Border (http://www.pctmap.net/iphone/wa_section_l_map.pdf). It will take a moment to load because it's a big file.

I only mention it because there are a lot of non-PCT trails in the area.

At Manning Resort you might ask about the hostel they run across the street.
It was something like 40 bucks as opposed to 150 bucks for a Hotel room.
For what it's worth, there is a level campsite just a few hundred yards or so on the PCT on the Canadian side of the border.
If you wanted to camp out there the night before it would be a good but primitive spot.
As i recall there was a creeklet there as well.
At the border (Monument 78) itself there is not much level ground.

All of these posts are assuming the OP has a passport and the hikers she is meeting also have one and are prepared to enter Canada.
If not, she needs to see where the Harts pass road is found.
I haven't been on this road but know of it's existence.

OP. Are you aware of the international laws for your (and your hiking friend's) requirements?

Yea, you need a passport to LEAVE Canada if you are a thru hiker.
To enter and leave Canada requires a passport.
I have spoken correctly (from experience on two trails).
Read into those words what you will.

    Thanks for the info.

I do have a passport. The thru-hikers I am picking up have their passports as well as the special form from Canada to be able to re-enter the US.
