Gonna take some vacation before the end of May and do some hiking. Snickers Gap and go north is my plan as of right now.

You will be missed.. I understand. I'll be hiking at the same time as you then! Where is Snickers Gap?

Northern Va. on rt. 7 near Bluemont. Just a couple miles from the West Virginia state line. Actually I believe I will start up above the I-70 footbridge in Maryland and hike south to my truck. makes more sense."

How is the hiking up that way? Water good? Trail in good shape?
Unfortunately, it was just a drive by photo op, so not sure.

    Thanks for the memories.

Bob Hope-I got to back this guy up on woodwinds when he came to town. George Burns was funnier (I got to back him up, also).
I'm not really a hiker, I just play one on White Blaze.

I was right behind them. Having your wood in the wind sounds very ... relaxing.

Cows always make me hungry for some reason.

Looks like I'm going hiking on Monday up at Mt. Washington.

Have fun! I'm going up to VT or NH tomorrow. Still trying to figure out what mountain. Was gonna do Moosilauke, but my partner had to bail and I've already done it. May do Killington. We shall see!

Gday Happy Birthday OZ! From the Barefooted Bushman Owl!

Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.
