Ugh. Be patient, do rehab, take a long-term view.

hey wrong thread 10k!
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.
Woo
Hope all goes well and you bounce back with spring in your steps.
Owl...I have the same problem, swoll up and had trouble reaching my shoes to tie them and could hardly get into my tent and sleeping bag. The options I was given was to have a very large portion cut out or live with it, I chose to live with it and the orthopaedic surgeon agreed. Without the cartilage between the bones I was concerned I would develop worse problems. If I over do it I'll have swelling and be back in the same shape but I believe I will still be able to hike 20-mile days if I exercise some good judgement going down hill....if!
Alas, poor Owl. We knew ye well. Welp, let's eat him before he rots. Can't let a fresh body go to waste, can we?
Indeed, you do. That being said, you're not the only ones learned in botany and medicine up in this forum.
Just saw this, hope it goes well and you're back on your feet soon.
youve got wings baby.you dont need the legs anyway just land on your belly.if no flight plans it will give plenty of time to find out how many licks it takes to get to the center of a tootsie pop.good healing
What a wuss...a true hardcore hiker wouldn't let a minor bum knee slowum down.
