    Default Trail Days WhiteBlaze meeting place 2005

    wbdent I chatted with SGT Rock last night and we have come up with a meeting time and place for Trails days. I hope everyone can make it. We picked to meet outside of Dots because it is very easy to find.

    Dots
    Saturday
    10:00 am

    So lets get a roll call to who will be there.

    Footslogger (2003) and BadAss Turtle (2001) will be there ...unless I'm so out of shape that the hike from Kincora to Damascus takes me a week.

    I'll be there if i can make it down off the trail that early. Im starting at 321 on Thursday morning.

    If I go (not very likely at this moment), I won't be able to meet as I believe the UL backpacking seminar is going on from 9am-noon. Or is it noon-3pm?

    Default Trail Days schedule

    I've found the schedule for Trail Days (via the link on damascus.org) to be a pretty rough read. Has anyone found a more friendly schedule online?

    scotsghost - I thought the same thing - the above link has a word doc I put together - the type is small, but the whole schedule fits on one page! - Just scroll down to post #17!

    Thumbs up I'll be there, if LilRedMG has her way.

    Mary ("Lilredmg") says she's dragging my butt over from Nashville for Trail Days this year. It'll be my first. Anyway, if it all works out, I'll look for you on Saturday at Dots at 10:00 am.

    I would suggest you consider an afternoon/evening meeting time also, for the folks who can't make it in the morning.

    I'll be there, also inside eating breakfast. If any hikers need a ride to TD, I'll be glad to pick you up on my way. I'll be heading south on 81 from PA early Fri. morning. I can take 5or 6 hikers with packs in my van, maybe a few more if they are stuck without a ride. Email me a contact person and I'll make sure that we get connected.
