Default Shuttles - NY - East of Bear Mtn to CT Border

Plan on day hiking this portion of the Trail over the next few days. I have the shuttle list from ATC - not much listed. Does anyone have recommendations?

    Thanks

the outfitter in kent does shuttles, or did 2 years ago. theyre basically on the CT border. if i'm reading you correctly youre going to need a few shuttles and while i'm sure hed be willing to, having him drive all the way to the hudson to shuttle you is going to get pricey.

I used them in CT but I also thought it would be too $$$ to have them come that far west. As I get close to the border, I could try them.

    Thanks

    Hi, Fussymary,

Used them for a shuttle from NY 22 to Hoyt Road which cost about $40, so I would second your thought about waiting until you get closer to the border before you use them.

I know this isn't going to help, but, there is a Whiteblaze member, trail maintainer, who lives in that part of NY. I'm having a senior moment and can't remember his name. He may, or may not, do shuttles.

Just for the record - I ended up using Pawling NY Taxi for shuttles from the CT/NY border to 55 - prompt, clean cab, nice but quiet driver and charged me $27 for the NY 22 to Hoyt Rd - much better deal than the outfitter in Kent. Would recommend them to others.
