    ...(a request here from our friends, chuck norris and tigger at the new hostel in hot springs, nc) : Please vote for hot springs, for "best mountain town" at www.blueridgeoutdoors.com . We're still quite a few votes away from 1st place ! Thanks !............(voting ends tomorrow at 6pm!).....please help make this AT trail town NUMBER 1!.....

    Chuck's hostel had been open 8 days when I stayed there this spring. Good guy, enjoyed the stay and enjoyed the little town...good folks.

    I voted. Also threw a vote to Chattanooga and Berea, KY (not related to the AT, I just like them.)
