    Default Neels Gap To Dicks Creek Gap

    Hello all, this is my first post here on whiteblaze. I have questions on Neels Gap to Dicks Creek Gap.

    is there good car access to dicks creek?

    i cant find the millage of this hike could someone chime in on that?

    and any overall info and tips for this section.

    IMO, it is a very typical section on the southern AT. Plenty of campsites, plenty of shelters, plenty of road crossings.
    Fear ridges that are depicted as flat lines on a profile map.

    Did Hogpen to Dick's Creek last weekend. Good, safe parking at Dick's Creek. Water was flowing really well everywhere I stopped to tank up. The trail was in very good shape. The fall colors were awesome. Enjoy your hike.
