Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

Met an interesting thru-hiker with an 80 lb pack on Mt. Rogers. His trail name was very descriptive of a habit he had. His trail name was "Itchy Balls". I have other stories about him but it would not keep this thread on topic.
Enough is OK, too much is just right.

I seem to remember hearing of a hiker named Eager Beaver, and, yes, she was a woman.

It scares me that some of you are allowed to tell campfire stories to Boy Scouts.
The trouble I have with campfires are the folks that carry a bottle in one hand and a Bible in the other.
You never know which one is talking.
