that's why in most places you need a key to stock paper and why hand blow-dryers are cheaper. this is not isolated to AT.
I'm so confused, I'm not sure if I lost my horse or found a rope.

I always carry 47 roles of tp in my 65 liter pack. of course on shorter trip of under 3 days, I may drop it down to a couple dozen. I do like the rag idea, just think I need to designate 1 specific pocket in my pack for it. .... and pray that my alzeihmers does not kick in on the trail...oops, guess my clif bar is in the other pocket. Doh!!!

No **** - Really - there aught to be a law.....
Dogs are excellent judges of character, this fact goes a long way toward explaining why some people don't like being around them.

If you can't find a single roll, buy three and leave two at the hostel or share them with someone else.

Some also admit letting their dogs run free ... or sneaking them into dog-free places. Others to carrying guns without proper licenses. Others abuse alcohol and other drug rules. Or, stealth (illegal) camp.

Some folks are master rationalizers who simply feel that laws are for lesser mortals.

Does taking a couple of jelly packets for the trail count if you didn't use any on your toast?

I took honey packets from Denny's for my oatmeal. Can I get a plea deal?

What about going into gas stations to get little condiment packets?
Isnt it OK to buy a hot dog, and then get a supply of condiments?

btw, Racetrac has little pouches of Tabasco , only place Ive ever found them.

When I worked as a 911 Dispatcher, I had calls on the following:

*The hooker I hired stole my car and wallet while I was in the shower
*I just was robbed of my ounce (pot).
    *Someone sold me crap crack.

    The list could go on....

Chik-Fil-A has awesomely sized ketchup packs that open two different ways. Not that I would take any, of course

Sometimes I won't use all my packets of condiments with my fastfood meal. Waste not, want not.
