Default (THE Mule) Safe In Kuwait

    Hello AT hikers,

Currently I find myself in the middle of a very large dessert with no mountians in sight. No trees, no trails a very desolate place.

However All is well and I'm doing fine. Still counting down for my return to the trail in 2007, but right now i got a bit of a job to do. Soon its off to Iraq up north to see what they have in store for us. It'll be a busy year but i will try to keep in touch. Safe hiking to all.
    Happy Trails

I'm heading to the AT to hike for this Memorial Day weekend around the Delaware Water Gap on the NJ side. My loop will take me to the hugh rockface overlooking the Gap where I intend to sit for awhile and think back about my classmates that we all lost in 'Nam. My highschool , Edison, in Philadelphia, lost more students in Vietnam then any other in the USA. It's sad, but yet it makes me Proud of my friends. Let's not forget what this Memorial Day is all about. You'll be in my thoughts Trail Dog, hurry back to "the" trail. Thank you, Rancid

Keep your head down man, and your eye sharp for the IEDs. SAIPI plates and Kevlars are your friends.

Keep the faith brother, let me know when you get back to the trail.
